Warbird - Shanty Irish AleThis beer poured up a darker color than expected. The head was like a cream stout, very thick and very small bubbles. The aroma gave off a bit of that creamed beer smell, and the malts came through a bit. The taste was extremely good. The malts were roasted perfectly to give it a sweetness that led into a bitter with the hops. The whole thing ended without much of an after taste making me only want more. The alcohol taste came through just a bit, as the hops covered most of all of it. This is one of the best Irish Ales I have had.
