So I’m walking though the store and happened to run into this lovely lady named Matilda. At first she seemed plain and I almost missed her. She ended up coming home with me, finding her way into my kitchen. A lovely color and aroma surrounded her, and I poured her into a glass. The color, a bit reminiscent of a roasted wheat, cloudy with a distinct amber color. The taste was phenomenal! Sweet at the front, filling the mouth with a light roasted maltiness that is hard to top. Finishing mild, allowing the taste to fade nicely giving time to savor this creation from Goose Island. My only disappointment: I didn’t buy the 6-pack.
