Another Warbird today. This one is their Red Ale, and the name matches the color of the beer this time! The head on this one also faded quickly into nothing atop of a deeper red/brown brew. The richer aromas of malts where present in this one. The taste had a bite of hops to it, but the roasted malts flavor kept up with it. They say no aftertaste on their site, and there really isn’t one, but for a moment I did get an extra hit of hops on this one. I don’t think it would be as widely liked as yesterday’s Gold, but that’s just my opinion!
