Grolsch - Amber AleI’m not used to seeing anything but the lager in the store, so I had to grab it when I saw this one. A comment the other day of not many beers nowadays having clear bottles, here’s one for ya. The bottle has their name embossed on the bottle, and not much paper on the bottle at all. Simple. They let the amber color of the beer be displayed and sell their product. The head was fluffy and high on this one. I actually had to finish the remaining beer in the bottle while waiting to take the picture. The aroma of this one is sweet malts. The malts come through on this one, and that’s what I think they expected for the consumer. It had a bit of bitter, but not too much. There was just something about it I did not like as much as other amber/red ales. It was good to try, but I don’t think I will be buying a 6 pack any time soon.

Specs: 12oz
5.3% ABV
