long-trail-aleSimple name for this flagship brew from Vermont. The color is more orange than amber, but its aroma is so enticing that taking the time to write the post had to wait until I finished the glass. A paleness is present throughout behind a caramel taste which comes right to the front of the body. This combination of bitters from across the country grows to be the dominant taste on the end, leaving only the slightest maltiness on the end. Thank you Vermont, for gorgeous weather for snowboarding, tasty maple syrup, and great beer to drink!
