Bell's - Kalamazoo StoutBefore I get started, I thought you would want to know that Kalamazoo is a city in Michigan, and not all the people there look like the gentleman on the bottle. This beer is extremely dark with that frothy tan head that faded after just a minute. The aroma is abundant with sweet malts. The taste went from a bit light to coffee tasting then to a baker’s chocolate taste and then it just sat on my palate like that for a bit. Slowly the last bit of roasted espresso and chocolate taste faded away… I did enjoy this beer. Was it better than the Java Stout the other day? I don’t think so, I might have to try a side by side tasting. This one was just a bit more less flavorful, and more watery.
