windmer-snow-plowThere’s few beers that I still hesitate to taste, but milk stouts are one. The color is very dark, an aroma to match with a ripeness that reminds me of a a cream liquor. Body for this one is quite flat only in the sense that there’s no drastic change from the maltiness to the finish. Snow Plow leaves some head stuck to the glass just as the taste lingers in the mouth, allowing the rich notes to mellow out and allow you to enjoy the transition to a sweeter taste as it warmed on the top of the mouth. The soft chocolatly taste never turns bitter. I think it’s just the thought of milk and beer that makes me hesitate, because the taste is certainly delicious.
