Three Floyds - Robert the BruceThe name doesn’t really tell you that it is a Scottish style ale, but it is. The brown liquid poured up with a very small head. That always makes me wonder if that was purposeful, or did the beer lose some carbonation. The aroma is sweet. The taste is sweet with a bitter like bad coffee. It’s strange as the beer doesn’t have that flavor, but the bitterness does. After not liking the first couple initial drinks, it turned out not to be a bad beer at all. The after taste was a bit dry, but not bad either.
