It still amazes me how many beers I’ve had time and time again, but have never reviewed! Warsteiner Dunkel is one of these very brews. This dunkel [aka dark] beer from Warsteiner. The color is great, with low head but the aroma and flavor are true to this king of brewing. Caramel notes throughout give a uniform taste until a classic Warsteiner finish of hops lightens up on the end. I’ve had this brew at quite a few bars, from a handful of good beer stores, and then a couple times at the German-American Festival. All around this is a good showing for the Germans and a great contribution to dark beers.
