I love Rogue’s bottling. This red beast of a bottle packs 750ml of power. There is a flowery aroma to this red beer. The head took a bit of time to settle, and it cascaded a bit during the pour, such a beautiful thing. I was expecting more bitter from something with 60 IBU. I didn’t begin to catch the bitters until the aftertaste hit me. The initial taste confused me, as it was caramel, and as their site describes it: buttery peanut brittle. I need to wrap this up as I need to get back to the remainder of this beer. After trying this, you have to ask yourself if it better to be dead or double dead?

Specs: 26oz red bottle
9% ABV
IBU: 60
