How long have we done this site and we’re just reviewing Budweiser? There’s only one way to drink this one, right from the bottle or can. There’s a few reasons that Budweiser has lasted so long. Did you know that Anheuser-Busch made soft drinks during prohibition? This beer is the standard for American lagers using rice and barley to give a golden color with a nice scent. What you get from this hybrid recipe is a beer that is both sweet and then finishes with a mild hop crispness that leaves the mouth somewhat dry. This beer is designed to have a universal appeal so it doesn’t stand out from many of these microbrews or specialty beers, but this is the taste that defined and became the standard of the American lager.
