Wow! Check out the color on this ale from Bells! This unfiltered selection was packaged on 09/22/08 [Bells website can lookup when your batch was packaged on their website]. What really stands out is the sweetness of this brew, or so it appears at first. I’m not sure what set it off, but that sweetness changed to a rich notes screaming in my ear mouth. The finish is mild and only somewhat dry, most of those malts are still there, reminding you over, and over, and over again that this is entirely your fault for not buying more. Beware of having the last word drink, there’s sediment from this unfiltered brew.
