Another Indiana beer, this one is talking about Lake Michigan. Let me pause a moment about the name. Is it sarcasm or not? There can’t be more than 100 miles of shore line in the entire state of Indiana. There are probably only a few thousand square miles of the entire state that might get some lake effect. For a state that claims the names and states for it’s own cities (East Chicago and Michigan City), I’m not too sure. Back to the beer at hand: This cloudy beer is orange/yellow with a lot of head. I was able to preheat the oven, get out a pizza crust, open sauce, add cheese and toppings, and I was only half done with the pour. The aroma reminds me of a white ale, sweet. The taste is bland and a bit watery. There is not much bitter to this until a moment after drinking. The aftertaste is where the bitterness came in. I won’t be picking any of this up again, there are just too many other good beers out there.

Specs: 12oz bottle
