This Nicaraguan beer really surprised me. The golden clear color is not what surprised me. Either was the decent head on the beer. The lager aroma of malts and almost cut grass? Nope, not that either. The taste. I was thinking that this would be like a Corona or similar. Was I wrong or what. The lager was clean tasting, not much carbonation to mess with you while you drink making it smooth, and it was just a bit sweet with just a hint of hops at the end. It is just a bit watery tasting and that is what would make it a great beach beer. Too bad it’s not one of the beers I have seen again since I picked it up in Indiana. Give this cerveza a try!
