A dark red haze comes off the glass from this spooky brew from Weyerbacher. The aroma has a cinnamon nose that is very noticeable and warns that only the brave will survive this one. Despite the deep color, high ABV, and that aroma, the taste is quite light with malts that quickly give way to a nutty pumpkin flavor with no cinnamon. This was a strange drink, I couldn’t finish this is a minute like Jon’s post yesterday, but it certainly keeps me wondering what Weyerbacher is up to next.
