The simplest name for this American style hefeweizen doesn’t give you a sense of its straw color, light aroma or crisp and refreshing taste. Imagine the bright aroma of a pilsner white a wheat lightness. While you might expect a very light body of this beer, there’s still some darkness provided from the malts but a quick transition to that wheat taste and a nice bouquet finish that made this really refreshing. So summers over, but the weather has been saying otherwise, so I’ve been enjoying some of my favorite wheat brews.
