The consistant old look of Shiner’s labels is wonderful. This is the next adventure into Shiner’s cooler of beer. This one is a hefeweizen, normally what I would consider a summer time beer, but it still sort of feels like summer here. The color was darker and almost orange/yellow. The aroma was full of yeast and sweet. The head was almost non existent on this beer. The taste is what set me back on this one, set back in a bad way that is. The overwhelming sour finish to this beer makes me want to finish it in one chug so I only have to deal with the finish one last time. I really can’t recommend this beer, so move on to another Shiner.

Specs: 12oz bottle
5.6% ABV
