The 3rd of 4 Speakeasy beers I picked up. This one is just an ale, a prohibition ale. The picture shows a darker red than what it really is. The head stayed floating at the top and stuck on the sides of the glass as I drank. The aroma is sweet and watery. The taste is what surprised me. It was like the pale ale I had the other day but more hoppy. The malts are there and can be tasted, but the hops really come into play at the end. This is just not an ale, but a hoppy ale. I am lowering the rating because the name is deceiving to what is in the bottle, I shouldn’t rate a woodchuck then!

Specs: 12oz bottle
6.1% ABV
