My mother picked this one out for me at the Anderson’s here in town as part of a birthday gift. This stout, like most others, poured up dark and with a bit of head. The head really wasn’t there when pouring, then it rose from the depths of the beer. The aroma is chocolaty and bitter sweet. The taste is silky and honestly tastes like a heavy chocolate skim milk with light coffee bitters at the end. I think I really like this. I say skim milk because it has a watery taste when you begin to drink it. The more I drink the more like a real stout this is becoming because of the leftover bitter taste in my mouth overpowers that first sip. Very interesting, and I would suggest trying at least one!

Specs: 12oz bottle
5.25% ABV
IBU: 22
*I will pick up another one of these and take another picture. By the time I have written this, the beer is gone (as it should) and the camera was not focusing correctly!
