How does a whale’s tail logo company end up putting a train on the front of their beer? When I checked out their site I noticed that Chris and I have reviewed a couple of their others. Anyways, this dark dark stout meets all my stout expectations. It poured up dark with a two inch head that was a darker brown color. The aroma was just a full roasted aroma of malts. The taste was just full. It began with a cool smooth drink that went into a coffee taste, then a bitter coffee taste that finished with a chocolate bitter aftertaste. A wonderful beer, or is it just after the last 4 reviews was I looking for something that would not kill me. Either way I do believe this is damn good stout!
