I love the packaging for no apparent reason. This is another PA beer brought to me by Jenn and Kyle (Thanks!). It poured up nice with just a bit of head that faded into little bubbles that seemed to group together on the surface. The aroma has a bit of hops to it, but roasted malts/straw also. The color is a nice darker red that seems unusual for an IPA. The taste surprised me as lots of the smaller breweries don’t get down the strong hops, but they do. It is nice and clean and then BAM, the hops hit you. What I really like is that they go away as quickly as they came. For those of you not liking the bitter hops, perhaps try this as it will not leave you with that taste all night. Click this to view their press release of the beer.
