Yuengling - LagerYes another simple named beer. It seems the older the brewery the simpler the naming. This brewery claims to be America’s oldest brewery. They have a few different styles and this one was brought to me by Jen and Kyle when they visited from PA. This beer poured up with a little head on it that quickly faded into just a few bubbles. The color in the picture is darker than it really is. The color was a dark golden color that was almost brown. The aroma was a bit sweet, which faded right into the taste. It was also a bit sweet, but what caught me off guard is that it seemed almost over carbonated and it was bubbly in my mouth. It did leave a dry taste in my mouth, but the sweetness was still lingering for a moment. Overall not a bad beer, and I can’t wait to go to PA and find some singles of their other styles and perhaps find a five star beer there!
