Rogue - Hazelnut Brown NectarWhew after last week I am ready to get into some big beers. This one comes from Rogue and as always they suggest a food pairing with it. This one they suggest beef or pork. It poured up nicely in one of the larger mugs, and you can see from the picture that it is quite humid here and it began sweating almost immediately. The aroma of this is sweet and nutty. The taste is awesome (I am not just saying that because the last beer I had was from college week). It begins with a light sweet taste that just builds and then the nutty taste grows stronger until the sweet is gone. Finally you are left with the taste I can best describe as eating a roasted coffee bean, but only a bit lighter. My wife picked this up for me stating that I kind of look like the guy on the bottle. I don’t care so much for why she got it for me, but where to find more!

Specs: 22oz bottle
6.2% ABV
IBU: 33
