New Belgium - Springboard AleThis is a summer or spring ale from New Belgium Brewing. The beer was surprisingly light. I expect the spring/summer beers to be wheat and light, but this is quite light. The aroma was floral and had hints of citrus. The taste is dry and a has a bite at the end. It is not the hoppy finish that I like. This bite is created by citrus in the beer. I would have to guess orange peel and some definite lemon peel. I could have a few of these on a hot summer day, but just sitting at home tonight, one is enough.
Specs: 12oz bottle
6.2% ABV
