Here’s an unfiltered wheat beer from Saranac. You’ll notice the weizen aroma and classic straw color without the cloudiness. The body is light, airy, and more on the hoppy side. There’s no need for a slice of fruit, this beer has lots of flavor with no unpleasant overpowering wheat taste. This isn’t a particular favorite style for me but what’s more to want from a hefeweizen?
