Another simply name beer from our St. Louis brewer Schlafly. This pilsner is in fact, a pilsner! It poured up with a high head that took some time to fade on top of the yellow liquid. The aroma has some hops, but mainly grains. The taste is alright, nothing really too special. The hops at the end are a bit bitter, but not overpowering. There really isn’t a focus or highlight of this beer. The taste is mediocre at best. That’s two Schlafly’s I haven’t like as much as I had hoped.
