Here’s a dark colored Scotch Ale that you can find at local pubs or at the beverage center. The color has a hint of red and a smoky malt aroma that is a bit sweet. McEwan’s Scotch Ale has a great taste with a creamy full body. That smoky flavor comes into play but isn’t incredibly strong. There’s a mild sweetness from the malts and the hops just remove this and allow the flavors to linger. This is by far one of my favorite styles and this turned out to be a great find.
