I thought I had one of Dogfish Head’s IPAs, to continue with the number theme, but I was mistaken. What I did find in my fridge was Festina Pêche, brewed with fruit concentrate. Straw color and a nose like a citrus beer, this taste thew me off. Definitely peachy, theres a distinct tartness to the start and a body that is certainly light with a strong peach note. The hops finish isn’t dry or bitter, just takes off the tart, leaving a peachy pallet. I don’t know if I’d drink this regularly, but this would be great with a light lunch during the summer. Limited summer release, so if you’d like to try, go buy soon!
