Harpoon - UFO HefeweizenI always appreciate the name of the beer telling me what I will be drinking. But, they didn’t tell me everything on the label… The beer poured nicely in the glass with just a bit of head. The light yellow color looked very clear, and almost too light. The aroma had the smell of wheat and yeast. The taste of this was the most disappointing. What was it? I don’t know, there really wasn’t a taste. There was a little dance of perhaps the malts and hops then it was gone. Little to no after taste, no main taste, I should have poured myself a glass of water. I could drink pitchers of this and not know I was drinking beer. Drinkability is high, fulfilling taste is low.
