Kirin Ichiban - Special Premium ReserveA deceptive beer. It looks Japanese, it might even taste a bit Japanese, but it’s not made there. Not even made in Korea. This is made in LA under Anheuser Busch. Back to the important stuff: The light golden colored beer had a soapy type of head on it. The aroma was full of fresh grains and malts. I felt that this was a bit over carbonated as the bubbles seemed to build up in my mouth. It didn’t seem to have much hops in it, but the finish is dry and just a bit bitter. I like that it reminded me of Asahi in that manner. I wouldn’t go out and grab one, but if you happen to see it, you might as well try it.

Specs: 22oz bottle
