As simple as this bottle is, I like it. The beer in the bottle poured up nicely as a dark, guess…. Brown! The aroma is sweet. The taste follows suit. It is sweet and malty. I thought I had some hops at the end, but it was more of a bitter dark chocolate taste. The caramel taste is also present in this beer. The only thing that scares me is that this limited small batch is not listed as a current small batch on their website, and without any indication on when the beer was bottled, this could have aged a bit more on the shelf. I hope it was pasteurized well!
