Morimoto - Imperial PilsnerI have seen Iron Chef multiple times, and at least once saw that he used his own beer to cook into the meal. I finally saw one and I had to spend the ~$13 for the bottle. A very nice bottle that can be corked, but really who does that?! Chris was over so I poured two glasses and the first had bubbles collect at the sides of the glasses, the other did not. Both were the yellow/amber color with a good amount of head. While drinking the small bubbles on the head stuck to the side of the glass. The beer tasted thicker, like syrup, but not quite that thick. The taste was bitter, then smooth, and left a good clean taste in my mouth. It was quite good, even my wife tried it and liked it. I suggest you give it a try. Like all the Rouge beers I have seen they recommend what to pair it with. This one suggested fish and poultry.

Specs: 26oz bottle
