Southampton - May BockHere’s a traditional lager from South Hampton. This cloudy bock has the color of honey and poured with a nice smooth head. The aroma has a nice combination of sweet malts and flowery hops. I was somewhat surprised with the taste which was quite sweet and left a bitter sweetness at the back of the pallet. It was very pleasant and really provided a full taste that didn’t sit heavy on the stomach. This is a nice choice for this time of year and would likely pair well with your first cookouts of the season.
