Anchor - Bock BeerThis is a seasonal beer in it’s 3rd year from Anchor Brewing in San Francisco, CA. A dark beer, with a surprisingly large head that stayed around for a couple of minutes. The aroma is that of caramels and malts. The taste was really good. The caramels and malts came right in, and the bitter of hops at the end. I was left with the taste of malts and bitter when done. I think that I could have a couple of these, but I could not make an evening of them. I really have not had anything outside of the Anchor Steam beer, not even realizing that Anchor was the brand, and Steam was more or less the beer name! A learning experience for me!

Specs: 12oz bottle
5.5% ABV
