This is an imperial coffee stout. They emphasize on the coffee part. The pour was dark and had a nice mocha colored head. The smell was that of, well coffee and chocolates. The taste left nothing hidden, a bit bitter, but went down like a nice coffee would. I really don’t have any beefs with this imperial stout. Keep up the good work Southern Tier, and thanks for making the bottle large enough to share. With an impressive ABV of 12%, you can share or keep it to yourself!
