Samuel Adams - Longshot WeizenbockHere’s one of the two winners of the Samuel Adams Homebrew Contest from this year. You can find this in the store in a blue cardboard 6-pack and it surely worth the price. This Weizenbock is dark, cloudy, and rich in aroma. There is a sweet smell that is familiar, but I can’t get my tongue on it. The flavor hits strong with a deep maltiness blended with that sweet taste. The hops make it crisp and refreshing on the end, otherwise this would fill you up with a single glass. There’s a reason this brew won, cheers to you Rodney Kibzey of Illinois!
