I don’t know where this name comes from but this is an awesome brew. Full-bodied and robust throughout, this was an excellent surprise given the unusual name. The aroma is sweet and smoky, not unique, but it really gives a nice prelude to the upcoming taste. As soon as it hits the pallet, the strong taste fills the mouth with sweet malts that have a nice roasted finish that bites, then fades quickly to leave that balanced taste lingering. If you’re a fan of bocks, this definitely has some great potential to be a great brew for you.
