Barrel House is a brewery from Cincinnati, OH. Labeled as a dark red ale, this had a great deep red color. Aroma was on the sweet side, and the flavor followed suit. There was a prominent creamy taste to this red ale, and a sweetness that I didn’t expect. I’m glad Barrel House Brewery was represented at Glass City Beerfest; every brewery that was represented is available somewhere in the Toledo area, so I’ll be looking to find where I can buy these beers.
