Rye beer is certainly not an everyday sight, so I took the opportunity at the Glass City Beerfest to try this specialty ale. IPA, great deep color, thick creamy head. There were lots of bitters on the nose of this brew and even more on the taste. Hearty the whole way thru and a mild malt finish, this was an excellent IPA for anyone who loves the taste of rye grains, even if you’re not an IPA person.
