Back to back reds? Yes I dare! A quick stop at our local Kroger surprised me. They expanded their selection of Samuel Adams (and removed a Tap 21 beer). They had 11 styles in 6 packs, 2 in 12 backs, and 1 mixed 12 pack. Back to the beer at hand… This poured up very nice, and the color was spot on red. The aroma was sweet. The taste was full and sweet due to the caramel they used in this beer. The finish had just a slight bitter to it, almost unnoticeable. A great beer to finish off the week with, or just any day!
