My last style from the Great Lakes Brewing sampler pack I pickup up last week. This gold medal winner from the World Beer Festival is of the Dortmunder style, which I had never heard of. The golden color and dry aroma are like a pilsner, but this is a style all its own. Some aspects of a pilsner, but the distinct malt and hop flavors make this far more interesting. Dortmunder Gold is another great brew from Great Lakes.
