Another selection from “the chosen beer”. Messiah Bold is dark and malty with great nose and color. A smooth pour and quick sniff, I knew this was going to be an excellent drink. The roasted maltiness is well rounded and really fills the pallet with great flavors. Hops join the mix and lighten up what would otherwise be an extremely heavy taste, ending with a nice clean refreshing taste. My preference is more for the malts, but in this case the hops really do make this a bold dark brew.
