Warsteiner - OktoberfestNormally I would expect a darker, heavier Oktoberfest recipe; however, Warsteiner’s tribute to a Bavarian Oktoberfest is a fitting tribute to the season. This hoppy brew is a rich golden color. A nice head with hops on the nose give a nice preview of the beer. Overall body is quite light and sweet - blending hops and achieving a full taste that is very refreshing. The sweetness and bitters linger and are quite difficult to resist. Finishing off my stock of Warsteiner Oktoberfest won’t be difficult at all.
