Tommyknocker - Maple Nut BrownWell the picture shows Tommy pouring what appears to be syrup into a barrel, but this certainly doesn’t taste like syrup. The smell is of roasted nuts, not maple. This brew is actually quite thin with no bells or whistles. A taste like roasted walnuts was present throughout and lingers as the hops provide only minor cleansing and weren’t very bitter at all. I would say it needs more hops, but I don’t brew - I just know what I like. Not the greatest from this pack but it’s not stopping me from trying more.
