Schlafly - Dry Hopped APA AleAfter yesterday’s beer, I couldn’t wait to open another Schlafly’s from St. Louis. From the great pour with a good amount of head, and the wonderful smell of hops, I knew this was just the beginning. I did not hesitate taking that first drink, and I just kept going! This one was full of hops, and it is one of the most bitter beers I have ever had. I really don’t mind that, in fact by the name of the site, you have to assume I love that! Bring it on Schlafly, and keep ‘em coming. It is so bitter that I want a drink after drinking it to quench my thirst it creates. I would really like to have a few more of these, but I only have the one, and it was brought to me by a co-worker on his trip to St. Louis. If anyone from the St. Louis or NY area know of any special beers from the smaller breweries in the area that we should try, please let us know as we may have an opportunity to pick some up soon.
