Color is a gorgeous black with only the faintest hint of brown on the edges, but only if it’s held directly in the light. Normally I would expect a very dominant taste, but this is a great blend of malts and hops, neither so prominent that the other is masked. I say that but the hops aren’t cleansing – the malty taste lingers and just called me to finish this glass. Once again, a fine tribute to European brewing from Milwaukee.
