Guinness - Smithwick’sWhat can I say, this is a wonderfully poured beer with just the right amount of head. The slightly sweet ale smell was surprising, but well enjoyed. The color was spot on for what I would want in an Irish ale. I was expecting something a little bit more a full taste from this. I was expecting the great taste you get from Guinness itself, but then this is a red ale. After taking another drink without the thought of Guinness in my head, I do think I found a Irish Red that tops Mr. Killian’s brew. I am sorry to all those Killian’s drinkers, including myself, but this is better! Raise your glass and drink this one down, and have another! Thank you to Mike for gifting me this beer to me!
