Tommyknocker - Ornery AmberAnother humorous name yet satisfying brew from Tommyknocker Brewery. The mild roasted malts in combination with crisp, not overpowering, hops made this an enjoyable drink. Smooth pour, aroma not unlike a bock, a nice thick dark gold color. Overall it is quite filling, but each drink is finished with the crisp hops, lingering just enough to cleanse the pallet and vanish. There are some simmilarities with this to a wheat brew; a flowery hoppiness, crisp flavor, filling without the emphasis on the malts. Once again, I’m glad I chose this from its unusual packaging. Ornery Amber came from a sampler pack, an excellent investment to try these Tommyknocker brews.
