Moylans - White ChristmasThat’s right, a wit, not a wheat! Well first they put a lot into this beer. Right on the bottle they say dried orange peel, mace, cinnamon, coriander, and white pepper. Wow, that’s quite a list of things that I really don’t want in my beer. Normally that is. This must have the right combination of each. I really don’t get a hop taste from this until after it goes down. Maybe I should back up a little. The pour of this beer was great. I had to pour, wait, pour, wait, and one last pour, wait. The last wait is because I had to take a picture before taking a drink! That is always the hardest part! The color is a nice wheat yellow/orange. The aroma has a hint of the spices listed, but you really can’t identify each by the smell. The first taste caught me by surprise as I hit the pepper, and other spices. I am not a cinnamon or orange in beer guy, but like I said before, they did this right with the combination. I highly suggest this beer for this season or any! There is enough in the bottle for two, but just enough for me tonight! On the 10th day of Christmas, I got 10oz more beer than I expected!
