Scaldis NoelHonestly, I chose this beer because of the shiny wrapping. This beer smells amazing! It’s rich amber color is very cloudy, and in the light, almost like the sediment of a turning cider. On the bottle: “…will delight the most demanding connoisseurs” - it certainly delighted me! It gradually progresses from a sweet tingling on the tip of the tongue and gradually moves to the back of the pallet - the taste of a variety of malts and hops changing slightly the whole time. Though not labeled as such, this has the qualities of a barley-wine: smooth, rich taste, deep , high ABV.
